- We also Protect Attached Equipment from Failures Due to Cable Cuts, Disconnected Cables, and Switch and Hub Failures (Malfunctioning Ports, Plug-in Cards, or Power Supplies).

Redundant transceivers from other vendors terminate and regenerate signals using electronic devices only. This causes these devices to be a single point of failure due to power interruption events. Using relay and optical switch technologies, Shore Microsystems' Link Protectors with Straight Through Wire^TM technology pass traffic even on total loss of power. The Link Protector becomes like a "straight through wire" upon failure.
