Redundant Operation By Utilizing Softfail Technology

Some Shore link protectors offer the ability to handle errors caused by failures of internal software/firmware processes in attached network devices, i.e. "Softfail" problems. By utilizing either the ability to automatically detect traffic loss due to a Softfail or by responding to external commands via SNMP traffic can be rerouted around "crashed software/firmware. This creates a ROBUST environment, handling all hardware and software failures that prevent network continuity.

Shore Microsystems warrants all products against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original consumer purchase. If a defect exists during the warranty period, Shore Microsystems at its option will either repair or replace the product at no charge.

Note: All Shore Microsystems' warranties apply to the Original Owner; also referred to as the End User. The warranty will not apply to the product if it has been damaged by misuse, alteration, accident, improper handling or operation, or if unauthorized repairs are attempted or made.
